From a user perspective, TalentSearch\u2019s core features include IntelliSearch, a natural-language processor and recommendation engine that eliminates the need for complex Boolean search strings. \u201cIntelliSearch is super easy to use. Just cut and paste a job description or even a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 of a hire or candidate your hiring manager loves and IntelliSearch will go out and find others that fit the criteria you need,\u201d wrote HR expert Tim Sackett in a <a href=\"https:\/\/timsackett.com\/2018\/10\/09\/your-weekly-dose-of-hr-technology-dice4employers-new-intellisearch-helps-uncover-more-it-talent\/\">recent blog posting.<\/a> \u201cIf you haven\u2019t taken a look at Dice recently, it\u2019s worth a new look, especially if you\u2019re struggling to find IT talent, and you don\u2019t consider yourself a full time IT recruiter. I find those who are less \u2018techy\u2019 will really be helped by Dice\u2019s new IntelliSearch,\u201d Sackett added. TalentSearch\u2019s filters allow recruiters to narrow down candidates by skills, years of experience, work authorization, and other important metrics. In addition, the platform\u2019s algorithms suggest candidates based on adjacent skills and titles. \u201cTools like this intelligent search can help to level the playing field, potentially giving those early career recruiters an opportunity to perform at levels near that of the best talent acquisition professionals on the team,\u201d Ben Eubanks, principal analyst for Lighthouse Research   Advisory, <a href=\"http:\/\/lhra.io\/blog\/using-technology-level-recruiting\/\">wrote in a blog posting<\/a>. \u201cThis doesn\u2019t have to apply just to a brand new recruiter either,\u201d Eubanks continued. \u201cI had been recruiting for several years before I was thrown into the deep end of finding software testers, cybersecurity engineers, and more. Those unfamiliar terms and programming languages would have been great opportunities to use a smarter search feature to extract the best candidates from the database instead of painstakingly trying to match job titles or other information manually (and slowly).\u201d At September\u2019s HR Tech conference, Mike Marasch, senior director of DHI Group, \u201cemphasized the focus of Dice\u2019s new TalentSearch on surfacing quality candidates over generating a higher number of results,\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hcmtechnologyreport.com\/job-boards-move-era-matching-education\/\">according to HCM Technology Report\u2019s Mark Feffer.<\/a> \u201cDice\u2019s emphasis on providing actual contact information hints that job boards now think of themselves more as providers of solutions, not only information,\u201d Feffer wrote.
