Comparatively, however, technology unemployment  has remained far lower than the national average. Specifically, of the top 50 employers in  the third quarter, 68  percent  created more job postings than  the second quarter, while only 32  percent  created an equal or lesser number of job postings.\u202f  <\/p>   \n<p>In taking a deeper look at  the  top employers for the quarter,  consultancies and business-services firms  were a significant driver of  tech job growth, with\u202fCACI, Infosys\u202fand Accenture  all ranking  within the top 10 employers.  <\/p>   \n<p>During Q3, Accenture\u2019s federal-services arm won\u202fmultiple\u202f\u201cdigital transformation\u201d contracts with the U.S. Air Force, demonstrating yet again the federal government\u2019s outsized role in the tech industry (and tech contracting).\u202fIn addition,\u202fIBM\u202f(ranked 14th)\u202fwon money from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for digital health initiatives.\u202fThese new initiatives, combined with existing\u202fprivate-sector contracts,\u202fis\u202fdriving these consultancies to hire for a range of roles, including data scientists, network engineers, software developers and analysts.\u202f\u202f  <\/p>   \n<p>The top skills listed in CACI\u2019s job postings include Linux, agile development, Java, Oracle and Python.\u202fFor Infosys,\u202ftop listed skills include Java, SQL, systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and\u202fOracle, and for Accenture, the top listed skills include\u202fproject management, SAP, Java and Salesforce.\u202f\u202f  <\/p>   \n<p>Outside of consultancies,\u202fOracle\u202franked sixth in Q3, and\u202fcreated a high number of job postings with skills including product development, java,\u202fPython and data structures.
