Software developer\u00a0(-8%)\u00a0and network engineer\u00a0(-3%)\u00a0roles both saw a decline in postings from February to March 2020, likely due to employers deprioritizing new development projects and shifting focus\u00a0to stability and adoption of work-from-home\u00a0status.\u00a0Occupations like\u00a0cybersecurity\u00a0engineer (+20%),\u00a0systems\u00a0engineer (+11%) and\u202fsystems\u00a0administrator (+7%) have all increased significantly\u00a0in the last two months,\u00a0as employers\u00a0focus on scaling infrastructure, ensuring security for remote employees and maintaining core platforms.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile job postings in certain locations have\u00a0softened\u00a0in recent weeks, businesses are still in desperate need of\u00a0high-quality\u00a0technologists who can keep businesses\u00a0operating seamlessly\u00a0as the need for remote work and social distancing increases.
